What If The Anxietycentre Therapist I Want Is Not Taking New Clients?
Anxiety Question:
What if the therapist I want to work with is not taking new clients at the time? What should I do, wait, or pick another one of your recommended therapists?
Answer:
Since our recommended anxiety disorder therapists take clients on a first-come basis, they do frequently book up. But because they also have clients in various stages of progress, they also have openings come available frequently as clients complete their work or withdraw for various reasons, such as holidays, taking a break, financial challenges, work hour changes, time conflicts, and so on.
So, if you find that the therapist you want to work with is booked up, you can put your name on the therapist’s waiting list and hope that an opening comes available soon. And sometimes, therapists have an opening or two but haven’t changed their status yet, so you may be able to meet with them sooner than you think.
Or you can choose to meet with another one of our recommended therapists. Since all of our recommended therapists are experienced at anxiety disorder resolution, any one of them would be a good choice.
Ultimately, the final decision comes down to personal preference and how urgent you believe your need is.
If you are uncertain about which therapist to choose as an alternative, email us a brief history of your struggles with anxiety disorder, and we would be happy to make a recommendation for you.
