Anxiety Coaching Therapy Program

Last updated April 24, 2021

If you are interested in working with one of our recommended therapists, getting connected is as easy as the following three-step process:

Step 1 – Select A Therapist

Each of our recommended anxiety disorder therapists has personally experienced anxiety disorder and has successfully overcome it. That is one of the requirements for becoming an recommended therapist.

We believe no one knows better what an anxiety sufferer is dealing with than someone who has had to work through it themselves.

We also know that working with someone who has had to overcome anxiety disorder in their own life brings many benefits to therapy and the recovery process, as there are many nuances to recovery that most others won’t know or understand.

Even though each therapist has personally experienced and successfully overcome anxiety disorder, and has been highly trained to help others, each therapist has their own personal experience, which can be beneficial to someone who suffers in a similar way.

Choosing a coach/therapist who had a similar struggle can be beneficial. Therefore, to begin, you may want to look at each therapist’s profile and select the one that you believe more closely matches your experience.

Step 2 – Make An Appointment

The next step is to book your appointment with your selected coach/therapist. You can do that using our online "Make An Appointment" form.

Step 3 – We'll Get You connected.

Once we receive your Make An Appointment form, we'll connect you with your selected therapist and he or she will be in contact with you promptly to arrange your first appointment and provide you details on how to proceed.

In preparation for your first appointment, your therapist will provide you with a link to an online background information form where you can provide some background information about your personal experience with anxiety. We do this ahead of time so you don't have to cover this information in your first appointment.

Your therapist will also let you know how our billing system works so you are ready to proceed with your first appointment. Your therapist will also provide you with a link to a secure online form where you can submit your credit card information for payment. We also take PayPal. If you'd rather use PayPal to pay for your therapy sessions, let your therapist know and he or she will give you more information about using PayPal.

That's it! From this point on, we do the rest.

Since most of our correspondence is via email, please watch your email for your therapists contact. If you preferred to be contacted by phone, let us know on the ‘Make An Appointment’ form in the "Comments" section when you first book your appointment. You can add any other specific details you’d like us to know about there, as well.

How To Meet With My Therapist

Almost all of our therapy sessions are held either via the telephone or over the computer using Voice Over Internet Protocol software such as Skype, which is free software that allows you to use your computer like a phone or videophone. These types of sessions are referred to as "tele-therapy."

Tele-therapy has gained favor over the last 10 years over face-to-face therapy because of its convenience and confidentiality. Research has also repeatedly shown that tele-therapy is just as, if not more so, effective as face-to-face therapy. This has been our experience, as well. We’ve been using tele-therapy for the last 15 years and have achieved excellent results.

Tele-therapy has been so successful that almost all of our clients prefer that method over face-to-face therapy. Some of our therapists still offer face-to-face sessions, if that is your preference. Please check with your therapist to see if that option is available.

Billing therapy services is a professional service provided by professional coaches/counselors/therapists/psychotherapists. As such, there is a fee for this service. This fee is consistent with, and often less than, similar therapy services provided by other professional therapists. We've made our therapy session fees reasonable so that most people can afford professional and experienced help. therapy fees are set out on our "Rates and Terms of Service" page.

How sessions are paid for

We can receive payment for your sessions via credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) or PayPal.

We use a "pre-billing" process when working with our recommended therapists:

Once you make an appointment with your selected therapist, the therapist lets us know the day and duration of the appointment. Then, we bill your credit card, or invoice you via PayPal, for the appointment prior to your appointment. Once we have received payment, your therapist is notified and you can proceed with your confirmed appointment.

If we encounter a problem with payment, we’ll let you know in advance so that you can correct the problem and still have your appointment.

We use a "pre-billing" process for every confirmed appointment, unless requested otherwise by your therapist.

That’s it!

Our process is simple and quick.

For more information:

The combination of good self-help information and working with an experienced anxiety disorder therapist, coach, or counselor is the most effective way to address anxiety and its many symptoms. Until the core causes of anxiety are addressed – which we call the underlying factors of anxiety – a struggle with anxiety unwellness can return again and again. Dealing with the underlying factors of anxiety is the best way to address problematic anxiety.
