I Wouldn’t Hesitate To Recommend Marie To Anyone Struggling With Anxiety
I contacted Marie to discuss anxiety related to health problems. I knew that I would respond well to cognitive behavioral therapy and she used a nice mixture of CBT and psychoanalytic probing into family history and issues. The homework she assigned was very helpful. As were questionnaires and personality profiles she assigned. I found Marie very empathetic. She has a good sense of humor and is an excellent listener.
I think my rapid progress was due in large measure to her extensive experience in treating anxiety and her own history of overcoming similar kinds of problems. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone struggling with anxiety.
The combination of good self-help information and working with an experienced anxiety disorder coach, counselor, or therapist is the most effective way to address anxiety disorder and its many symptoms. Until the core causes of anxiety are addressed - the underlying factors that motivate apprehensive behavior - a struggle with anxiety disorder can return again and again. Identifying and successfully addressing anxiety's underlying factors is the best way to overcome problematic anxiety.
