Stress responses, including those caused by apprehensive behavior, stress the body because of all of the changes stress responses bring about.

Stress can cause a great many symptoms, including all of those associated with anxiety and hyperstimulation.

Stimulants bring about their stimulating effect by causing the body to increase stress hormone secretion and other chemicals that stimulate the body.

If you are experiencing anxiety disorder or hyperstimulation and its symptoms, ingesting stimulants will not only aggravate anxiety, hyperstimulation, and their symptoms, but it also has the potential to sabotage and even reverse recovery from anxiety disorder and hyperstimulation.

Avoiding stimulants can prevent the aggravation of anxiety and hyperstimulation symptoms, as well as their interference with recovery from anxiety disorder and hyperstimulation.

The combination of good self-help information and working with an experienced anxiety disorder therapist is the most effective way to address anxiety disorder and its many symptoms. Until the core causes of anxiety are addressed - the underlying factors that motivate apprehensive behavior - a struggle with anxiety disorder can return again and again. Identifying and successfully addressing anxiety's underlying factors is the best way to overcome problematic anxiety.
