How
it works:
This service is widely accessible and affordable.
Appointments can be arranged to use any of the following formats:
- Voice, or video messaging using MSN
Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, Skype, or GoogleTalk.
- By phone
- In person
If you’d like to arrange an appointment
with one of our approved therapists:
- Email or
phone (403) 208-0091 (between 9 AM and 5 PM MST) to prearrange
an appointment.
- Select the format that you would prefer to use, then:
- If using Instant Messaging (MSN, Yahoo, Skype,
GoogleTalk), simply be online at the appointment
time and your coach will message you to begin.
- If using the phone, your coach will call you at the
appointment time.
- Arrive at our office 5 minutes before the appointment
time. All in person sessions will be held at our office.
- Appointment lengths are booked in increments of 15 minutes.
For example, appointments can range in length of 15 minutes,
30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes, or longer to a maximum
of two hours (depending upon availability).
- Appointments are scheduled on a first come basis.
Hours of Service:
Because our approved therapists have diverse
schedules and are located in different parts of the world,
they can accommodate almost any appointment schedule. Please
discuss your availability with your therapist to find the
most convenient appointment opportunity for you.

Personal Coaching/Counseling/Therapy session
cost:
- Using SKYPE or Instant Messaging - Coach's rate per
minute
- By telephone if you call us - Coach's rate per minute
- In person - Coach's rate per minute
- By telephone if we call you - Coach's rate per minute
plus the following long distance charges:
Payment method:
We accept VISA, MasterCard, AMERICAN EXPRESS, and PayPal.
Credit card information is collected prior to booked appointments,
and those wishing to pay by PayPal will recieve a PayPal
invoice before your session.
If you became an anxietycentre.com member using a credit
card, we can use this information for your coaching/counseling
session fees. If you prefer to use a different credit card,
please let us know prior to your booked appointment.
IMPORTANT: For security and privacy reasons,
we do not accept credit card information by e-mail, as email
is NOT secure.
Canadian clients will be charged an additional
5% GST tax. Clients outside of Canada are exempt from GST.
Credit card charges will appear from "JFi Communications".
Rescheduling, Cancellation or Missed Appointment
Policy:
It is our goal to provide high quality and
dependable coaching/counseling services. To ensure that our services
are used effectively (that our help is available to those who
are seeking help, and so booked appointments aren't skipped preventing
others from using them), we have the following coaching/counseling
policy:
- If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment,
we require a minimum of 24 hours prior notice.
- For rescheduled
appointments (with 24 hour prior notice), no service fee
will be charged.
- For cancelled appointments (with 24 hour prior
notice), no service fee will be charged.
- For rescheduled, cancelled,
or missed appointments without the minimum of 24 hours
prior notice, your credit card will be charged for the
length of time that the original appointment was booked
for based on the coach's/counselor’s
per session fee. For example, if the booked appointment
was with Jim Folk for 60 minutes, the rescheduled, cancelled,
or missed appointment service fee would be $100.
Holiday, Special Events:
- Our coaches/counselors will work with you to ensure
that your regular appointment (day and time) is held during
vacations, holidays, and other events.
- Extended absences will result in all future regular
appointments being cancelled and made available for first-come
bookings.
Consecutive Cancellations:
We understand that
sometimes circumstances can interfere with scheduled appointments.
If you are unable to keep a confirmed appointment, please let
your coach/counselor know at least 24 hours prior to your confirmed
appointment. Doing so will prevent incurring a cancellation fee.
Consecutive cancellations, appointments that are booked then
cancelled one after another, prevent others from accessing coaching/counseling
help. Therefore:
- Coaching/counseling sessions that are cancelled
two consecutive times without notifying your coach/counselor
will be interpreted as a request to stop coaching/counseling
services. As a result, all future regular appointments will be
cancelled and made available for first-come bookings.
Payment For Coaching/Counseling Session Fees:
New Coaching/Counseling Clients:
- Coaching/counseling session fees are pre-paid prior
to your confirmed appointment. This transaction only occurs once
an appointment has been booked and confirmed with your coach/counselor.
Existing Coaching/Counseling Clients:
- Once a successful relationship between you and your
coach/counselor has been established, your coach/counselor
may, at his/her discretion, request that coaching/counseling
session fees be transacted AFTER each session. This option
can be discussed with your coach/counselor.
- If your coach/counselor agrees to
have your session fees transacted after your sessions, your
session fees will be transacted within 24 hours after your
coaching/counseling session. If we have a problem with our
transaction, you will be notified by anxietycentre.com, not
your coach/counselor.
- If
you have any questions regarding any transaction, please

Unpaid Session Fees / Declined Credit Card Payments:
We are dedicated to providing responsible coaching/counseling
assistance. To that end, paid session fees ensure your coaching/counseling
sessions continue. Unpaid session fees, however, will prevent
the continuation of coaching/counseling assistance.
New Coaching/Counseling Clients:
- If your pre-session credit card transaction is declined,
you will be notified via email that there is a problem. You
will then have a 3-day period to resolve the problem.
- Should this transaction continue to be declined after
3 days, your scheduled appointment (day and time) will be
made available for first-come bookings.
Existing Coaching/Counseling Clients:
- For coaching/counseling transactions that decline,
you will receive a 3-day period to resolve the problem.
- If our transaction is successful within the 3-day
period, you will be notified by email that our transaction
was successful. You can then meet with your coach/counselor
according to the arrangements made with your coach/counselor,
as your reserved appointments remain secured.
- Should your transaction continue to decline at the
end of 3 days, your regularly scheduled appointments (day
and time) will become available for first-come bookings.
- Upon the successful transaction of your coaching/counseling
fee after the 3-day period, you will be notified by email
of the successful transaction and your coach/counselor will
be in contact with you to arrange for your next appointment.
- If your coach/counselor no longer has available openings,
you may ask to be placed on his/her waiting list or choose
to work with another coach/counselor who has appointments
available.
