Anxiety Therapy, Coaching, Counselling

Anxiety therapy, coaching, counselling information:

Webster’s dictionary defines anxiety as:

Everyone is anxious from time to time. This is considered normal. Anxiety becomes a problem when it and its consequences interfere with a normal lifestyle.

Anxiety is caused by a certain style of behavior: apprehensive behavior.

Apprehensive is defined as: fearful that something bad or unpleasant might happen.

Behavior is defined as: ways in which a person thinks and/or acts.

"Anxiety is caused by the ways we think and act (behavior) in an apprehensive manner."

Even though anxiety is caused by apprehensive behavior, anxiety can cause physiological, psychological, and emotional consequences. Learn more.

Many people don't realize that anxiety is a problem until they experience odd, unexplainable, and persistent symptoms. But anxiety symptoms aren't the problem themselves. They are merely the symptoms of a problem with anxiety. Learn more about the Two Levels of Anxiety Disorder Recovery.

To eliminate anxiety unwellness (disorder) and its symptoms, we identify and successfully address the behaviors at the root of problematic anxiety.

When you address and successfully eliminate the core cause of problematic anxiety, you eliminate anxiety’s symptoms, too.

The most effective way to overcome issues with anxiety is with the help of an experienced and professional anxiety therapist, counselor, or coach, and one who has personally experienced and successfully overcome problematic anxiety in his/her own life. This combination of personal experience and professional training provides the best assistance and recovery results.

Since all of us at have personally experienced anxiety unwellness and have successfully overcome it, we know it and the many nuances to recovery intimately. This personal experience is invaluable to the recovery process. Learn more.

Our approach to anxiety therapy, coaching, counselling

Our anxiety therapists, coaches, and counselors help you identify the core causes of a struggle with anxiety unwellness. Then, they help you address them one at a time and assist and support you through to lasting success. Learn more about how our anxiety therapists, coaches, and counsellors and the approach they use are different from other therapists and types of therapy.

Our anxiety therapists, coaches, and counsellors use a variety of successful approaches, such as:

Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) – identifying and successfully addressing the unhealthy behaviors that cause anxiety unwellness. CBT also teaches you healthy coping skills, recovery tools, and strategies for lasting success, such as containment and fear extinction, to name two.

Behavior Modification – modifying behavior to decrease anxious behavior and increase a focus on the joys and pleasures in life.

Mindfulness Training - learning "in the moment" techniques that enhance peace and calm, which can reduce and prevent apprehensiveness.

Emotional Therapy – understanding and becoming in charge of your emotions. Many anxious personalities go by how they feel a lot. Many also fear their emotions believing they can become uncontrollable. Emotional therapy teaches you what emotions are, how to be in charge of them, and the correct role they should play in your life.

Exposure Therapy – extinguishing fears require we confront them. But we believe this approach should only be used once you are well equipped with healthy behavioral and coping skills.

And many others.

All of these approaches (and others) are used by themselves, or in combinations, based on the client’s specific situations, circumstances, and struggle.

All of our anxiety therapists, coaches, and counselors use a talk therapy approach: talk about the issues involved through discovery, education, conversation, and on going support through to lasting healthy behavioral change.

Recent research has found talk therapy to be the most effective form of treatment for anxiety unwellness (disorder). This research agrees with our many years of practical experience helping people overcome problematic anxiety.

Unless the core causes of anxiety unwellness are addressed, it's unrealistic to expect to attain complete and/or lasting recovery. Dealing with anxiety’s underlying factors is the only way to overcome anxiety unwellness for good.

To help as many people as possible no matter where they live, our recommended anxiety therapists, coaches, and counselors offer tele-therapy: meeting with their clients via the telephone and/or Internet-based phone (such as using your computer like a phone or video phone utilizing free software such as Skype).

For those who are still interested in meeting face-to-face, some of our recommended anxiety therapists, coaches, and counselors offer in person meetings as well.

If you are looking for lasting success over anxiety unwellness, we can help. We’ve personally experienced anxiety unwellness, and have successfully overcome it. We are professionally trained and we’re passionate about helping others achieve the lasting success, as we have.

If you've been struggling with problematic anxiety, there is no reason to struggle any longer. We've been there. We know how problematic anxiety can affect a person. And we know how to overcome it for good. Start your recovery today so that you can get on with the rest of your life without anxiety being a problem.
