Heart palpitations: Heart palpitations feel like your heart
is pounding, racing, beating fast, beating too hard, skips a
beat, or feels like it stops or flops in your chest. When it
feels like it skips a beat, stops, or flops, it can also produce
a feeling like a tickle in your chest that makes you cough. If
you take your pulse, you may notice that your heartbeats are
unevenly spaced.
