Depersonalization,
feeling disconnected from the real world, dreamlike, unreality, out-of-body like, altered state of consciousness
Depersonalization: You feel like you are separate from yourself, not part of reality, disconnected from the real work, in a dream-like state, in a state of unreality, having an out-of-body experience, and/or experiencing an altered state of consciousness.
Others describe it as you
feel like you are not a part of what is going on, that you
feel like you are ‘out
of touch with things,’ feel that you are an observer
of the world and/or yourself, but not able to feel a part of
reality. Yet others describe it as feeling very unreal then think that you
are losing your mind or will cross over into some other non-real
world or consciousness. These thoughts can have you questioning your sanity, and thinking that you might be losing your mind.
